Now that the primary election is in the books, the real work begins. Labor and other progressives know that followers of Donald Trump, if they get in power, will overturn any future elections that they lose.

AFL-CIO President Rick Levy is scheduled to help Dallas AFL-CIO tomorrow, Saturday. Labor’s last election push begins tomorrow, May 21, with canvassing. Activists are asked begin assembling at 9AM at the big parking lot inside Kiest Park. Access Conservation drive from Kiest Street and bear to the left. Your Dallas labor movement intends to win the May 24 runoff elections. Organizer Marilyn Davis has scheduled door-to-door canvassing for Saturday, May 7. Meet at the Alliance/AFT hall, 334 Centre Street. Phone banking parties are set for Wednesdays, May 11 and May 18, from 4-6 pm at the CWA Hall, 1408 N. Washington.
