韦德1946 Salutes Life of Bob Slagle; Former Democratic Party Chair ‘Believed in Biggest of Tents’

  The 韦德1946 salutes the life of former Texas Democratic Party Chair Bob Slagle, a friend and supporter of Texas working families who died yesterday.

  “Bob Slagle believed in the biggest of political tents, always pursuing consensus to do the important things by uniting Texans rather than dividing them,” 韦德1946 President Rick Levy said. 

  “Bob had the personal touch,” Levy said. “He cultivated every possible relationship with our membership, listened carefully, and advocated for working families across the state and nation. We will miss Bob’s smile, his graciousness, and his bedrock belief in a better Texas for all.”
